5 Days Mount Kenya Naro Moru Chogoria Route

Begin your journey with a morning departure from Nairobi to Naro Moru Mountain Rock Hotel for lunch, followed by an acclimatization walk to the Mau Mau Caves and Burguret Water Falls, then proceed to Hikers Camp (2,330m) for dinner and overnight. On day two, hike via the Naro Moru gate to Met Station (3,040m) for dinner and overnight, with lunch en route. Day three involves a hike to Mackinders Camp (4,200m) for dinner and overnight, with lunch en route. On day four, start early to attempt Point Lenana (4,985m), reaching the peak before sunrise, then descend to Mintos Hut for breakfast. Continue descending with lunch en route to Chogoria Bandas campsite for dinner and overnight. On the final day, descend to Chogoria town for lunch and then drive back to Nairobi, arriving late in the afternoon.
